1985 Targa Top

My buddy is looking for a 1985 Transparent Targa Top. He has the painted one but he would like a transparent top. Is the 1985 top unique to that year?? Will a 84' or 86' fit??? He doesnt want to have to retro fit the top. Whats the price of a good transparent top going for ???

I noticed one on Ebay

A lexan top for an '85 just sold for $275. It was used in "excellent condition"........and did not include the frame. You would need to fit it to your existing frame.
I am not sure if the '84 and '86 are exactly the same, but I bet they are.

84,85 and early 86 are the same. GM changed design in late 86.

I've heard that too... but since I've got a 96, I'm not up on my early C4 facts. I've seen the tops go on ebay for $300... but I've also seen them at $600 too
