would stock C6 wheels fit my 95, if not what modifications would I need, I don't really want to buy repro.
You shouldn't have any problems with the front ones, but the back will probably not work. The back rims with their 79mm offset will sit in too far. You will need to use a 1" adapter to bring them further out.
I went through something similiar to this, putting Z06 wheels and tires on my 87. They also recommended 1 inch spacers. After, unsuccessfully trying three sets of these spacers; I went to a performance parts supplier and bought (4) wheel spacers for drag cars. Worked great with just the 3/8" spacer and was still able to use my existing studs. I also spent around $50.00 for the 4, rather than $250. I also had to relocate the brake cable clamp.....very minor.
I will be putting a set of C6 wheels on my '89 coupe this spring. The first statement about the rear wheels is correct. I have the stock wheels with 56mm offsets and the rear 19" with 79mm offsets will stick too far inboard. I bought some 1" spacers to overcome this problem. Other than that, I don't expect any problems. The car is in storage and the tires/wheels are stacked in my garage.

Good luck..............Dan
I think your wheels sit a weeee bit too far in
But, it's nice to know that the drag car spacers are an option
