Was that you on Newmans Lanne the other day? I think it was Thursady around 5pm'ish. If so, the car looks and sounds awsome!
Hey Don!!! : Sorry it took me a little while to respond...just got back about an hour ago from a few days worth of binge drinking in New Orleans
Yep...that was me...I try to get her out at least once a week (although this winter's made it kind of difficult). Thanks for the compliment...since you saw it last I put on a Magnaflow cat-back and couldn't be happier with the sound. Come springtime I might need your help with proper polishing procedures because no matter what I do, I can't keep the swirls away and you had mentioned a while ago needing to do a multi-step polishing process (similar to the one you had done for me) to really get rid of them. I think I'm going to invest in a Porter Cable buffer and some decent pads and see what I can do w/ some 3M products I've picked up.
Thanks again for the compliments and when the weather gets a little nicer maybe I'll take you for a ride and we can grab a beer.
Everyone is doing well, Thanks! No sweat, stop by any time. A Porter Cable polisher is the best money you will ever spend. It really allows you to "work" the products the way they were intended. Using those cheaper orbitals or doing it by hand just doesnt allow you to get the best results out of the better abrasive polishes. I just broke my High Speed rotary polisher, hopefully I'll have another after tax time! Arent you planning to get married soon?
Yep...getting married in November and looking at houses around the Morristown/Whippany area...all this $$$ I'm laying out may have a serious impact on my mod plans for springtime
