I'm going to make my factory wheels off my 84 into end tables, but they need some serious cleaning.
In their 21 years and 53k miles of service they have taken some abuse from the elements, cleaning methods, and cleaning products.
Is there a decent product out there that will clean the brake dust, grime, and other garbage on the wheels that won't do any more damage to the finish on them?
I would appreciate suggestions for products and/or methods to get them clean.
i am pretty sure they are clear coated so go to the parts store and get some air craft remover in the spray or brush on i perfer the spray. spray them down and it will take every thin on the wheel off and the clear coat also then get some good polish and polish the heck out of them and you will be amazed at your results.....
