I enjoy listening to the muffler elims but occasionally turn on the tunes. My 18-year old Bose works just fine by the way.

I like variety so sometimes I just listen to the rumble of the Flows and at other times crank the tunes.

On long trips I turn the radio off from time to time to listen to the great sounds coming from the car itself !

My radio is almost always on. It allows me to forget about how the majority of people on the road who actually don't know how to properly and safely drive. Nothing against the elderly, and I do not include all of them, but the majority of them have lost touch with how to safely operate a motor vehicle. They fail to look and see if anyone's coming when turning, they drive 20 miles under the speed limit in the left lane, they change lanes without looking to see if there's anyone already in that lane and I can go on and on. So, my radio is a distraction for the people who make me feel like I'm in a video game and the object is to ram as many people off the road as possible.

They brought that down from New York and Jersey
I keep mine on, too, basically for the same reason.

I like to listen to tunes, but at normal trip speed (usually about 8MPH over posted limit), the motor and road noise pretty much drown out the 'ol Bose system! I also like to listen to the exhaust, even on long trips.

I am OLD and like to drivre 20 miles over the speed limit. I have the tunes up loud so I can not here the young punks in their Rice Machines. Have to watch out for so many young drivers who have not been around long enough to know how to dive!

I like the option. I just finished replacing the Bose system because it was too quiet and after three amps failing, I was done with it.

Cruising down the highway at 75, after about 5 minutes, the sound of the exhaust begins to hypnotize me. I'd rather drop in a little AC/DC and rock on down the road!
