Kids.......
Thought some of you might enjoy this little story.....
This morning I was taking my five year old daughter to school and she starts off with.. "Daddy I have to tell you something"... She starts telling me that I need to start keeping our special cars. Past 3 years I have sold 3 cars. She says that I have to keep our special Ruby Vette because t is such a pretty color. Whom am I to argue. My "Little Princess" just loves cars!
My 12 year old son loves to be dropped off at school in the vette. All his friends are standing there and they all stare. He thinks he is so cool He says "will I get to drive this someday". I say "maybe". I use it as a stay out of trouble, stay in school , incentive.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to Papa John's to pick up some pizza. As I parked my car next to the restaraunt entrance, an 8 or 9 year old little girl pulled on her mama's shirt and pointed to my car, telling her to look.
That made my day, because I remember when I was like that at her age. Geez! I'm still like that, my head turns every single time i see a vette.
P.S. When i picked up the pizza, I put a cotton towel on my seat so the pizza box wouldn't touch my car . And since it's only about a 1 minute drive to Papa John's, i don't have to worry about smelling up my car with pizza!

This is great! Our daughter will be born in June, and I'll be looking forward to the time when she's big enough to ride along in the Vette.

She already wants to wash it!!!!! You should see a post I did awhile back with her washing the Vette. It is her car and she knows it.
As long as she does good in school and stays away from boys!!
The day we picked up my 94, my 3 yr old son told mom that "I am going in daddy's race car and she cant". I just pat his head and smiled thinking that is a good son, ha ha ha.

That's about the age I started noticing Corvettes, but it took a long time to get one.
Last summer my daughter told me that she thought she was tall enough to start driving the Vette. I just about lost it. Scary, she loves to go fast!!!! she fell in love with the exhaust system after I got it done.

Yeah, I got the same thing. Wanted to know when I was going to teach him to drive it. I just kind of chuckled and told him it will be sooner than you think. They grow up so fast. In a few years I'm going to be missing my little buddy.

I agree, way to fast. She already asked the big question about where babies come from. She really wants a sister.
