Opinions are wonderful, really, and hence I am going to toss this out there. I have ZR1 painted wheels on my '92 Yellow Coupe and have a desire to go w/chrome. On another post someone referenced Direct Tire (directtire.com) so I looked them up.
They have a great site in that you can profile your vehicle and swap out wheels. I narrowed my choice to two (17x9.5 all the way around): A Chrome ZR1 and a Chrome Bullit type wheel.
I prefer the Bullit as it seems to add more charactor and depth to the wheel as opposed to the ZR1 version which I beleive looks a bit "flat" in perspective. Plus I think the C4 model is old enough to have "period " wheels.
I'm planning on staying w/same size tires and all so to keep costs down. I believe I can get a good look by merely lowering the car an inch. But anyway, back to the wheels. I'll appreciate your opinion.
