Um... every once in a while I sleep in the garage to keep mine company and make sure she stays warm... stupid biotch steals the blankets most of the time

I got mine a couple months ago. I just finished all the things it needed and I wanted to do (phase one anyway). The new red paint looks great.
Every night before bed I go out to the garage and sneak a peek. Then sweet dreams......
Here we can drive without regard to weather any time. I actually took it out in the rain today for the first time ever. I just had to hear those Flowmasters working with the new chip. The Pirellis are pretty good on the wet road, too.
I doubt I am going to get tired of this car.

No you are not normal.
Neither am I or most all of the folks here owning the vette.
Normal people don't own vettes, that's why they are called normal.
Normal = average
The average person doesn't own a vette.
Vette = fun, excitement, style, personality, and American muscle.
No, you're not normal, so what... have fun saying vrrrroooommm in the garage until you have the nerve to drive it like it was designed to be driven (after the winter mods have been added of course)
I thought this post would get the reaction it has you guys are too funny. I believe what you all say is true guess I will just have to live with it and enjoy it all. Wonder why I did not get one before mabey it was the bad experience I had with my 82 Z28 HO 5.0 what a piece of crap it was. HO my butt it was the biggest dog. I work for GM and apoligize for the junk we built during the 80's (with the obvious Corvette exception) and am going to do my best to drive my baby like I stole her

Yeah, I know the feeling. It will last about a year, after which you'll just have the warm, fuzzy feeling but won't have to go look at it every coupla' hours!
When I got my first sports car (which was a Camaro) I used to sit in it sometimes in the evenings just to admire her (I called her Ruby since she was red) and spend some "quality time" together.
You don't need a Corvette, what you need is a full size picture of one, that way a real Corvette will be freed up for a person to own and drive, just like GM intended.
Welcome, Redeasysport! Wait 'till you start driving the 'Vette to work. You'll find yourself making excuses to get out and take a look! You have to learn to control the anticipation of hopping into her for the ride home after a long work day. If you can't control it, the day goes by very sloooooooowly
just have sex in the tailpipe with it running and get over it, that will cure your desire to hold and hug it and spend time with it, just like a wife, lol....

But why would you want to? I've been married three times (and am currently single, hopefully forever) and I've determined that the more I learn about women, the more I like my Corvette!

Boy do I have it made. Vette gets the garage and both DD sit outside. My 67 Friebird gets the neighbors garage!!
Got a lot of work to do come spring. Found a new rattle thanks to the great roads of Michigan!
