The AFS wheels just arrived!!!!
My new AFS polished ZR-1 11's just arrived!!!! I went over them with a fine tooth comb, these are some nice wheels! I was very impressed with the customer service at AFS. They appear to be a stand-up company, I highly recommend them.
But is so cold out penguins are frozen to the driveway Next year I have the garage heated Time to put on three sweatshirts and get them on the car
Now I need to decide what to do with the polished three spokes. If anyone is interest, shoot me an email. I'll go as far as to say they are perfect, no curb rash, tires with less than 1K miles on them, etc... This old photo shows them.

AFS is a stand up company. I bought the GS style wheels from them. Very nice.
That's what I'm waiting for, the weather to break. It can't stay cold forever.

With the new engine, I need a little more meat on the rear tires. These 315's are monsters! Plus I've always loved the look of ZR-1's.
I just put tape on the lug wrench so I don't nick the wheels. I have three heaters in the garage running to take the bite out of the air -- looking out the window right now it is snowing like mad.... You gotta love Michigan winters I'm like a kid on Christamas morning, as soon as the garage hits 30, I'm going in

Please post some pics with the new wheels--after you defrost from putting them on! I don't live to far from you, and also had plans to work on the car today (reinstalling the seat cushions). I too saw the snow this morning and already have the heater working!
Good luck!

Yep - In order to put the wheels on the Vette we kicked the BMW out of the garage into the snow! You see which car ranks in my house!
I thought the 18# Miglia's I have on the BMW would look real sharp on a Vette. But they don't offer them for Vettes.... Dang Italians

Only 9 days left in February. Some times we Michiganders get a warm spell in mid-March. We may just survive another winter!
Tires and wheels look nice. Interesting body mods there.

I was half considering looking for 325 or 335's. I'm glad I settled for the 315's.

You're right, im just retarded. I should have noticed those fender trim thingys more. It looks like yours sticks out exactly as mine.
The 315's make more sense, im glad you got them too.

I just don't know what to think.......I really like the ZR-1's(I have some too)...however, those other wheels really set your car off...they really went with the body work.

It never failed, I always got compliments on the old wheels when I had the car out. There is something about some nice polished wheels that set a car apart from the rest
