Today at work a friend of mine asked me if my 1995 was for sale. I told him yes and a few minutes later he and his wife walked into my office. They have seen my purple coupe before and since they recently sold their Corvette were interested in buying another one. I've had my purple vette for over 2 years and had no problems what so ever. My friend and his wife took the vette for an hour or so, after they got back we talked a few minutes and they decided not to buy it, OK... So at the end of the day, as I was getting ready to leave work, I got back into the 95 and she wouldn't start. My first reaction was what did my friend do to the engine, tranny, etc. All electrical functions were working properly... there was enough battery power indicated by the guage, she just wouldn't turn over. I open'd the hood, no wires unplugged or disconnected. Closed the hood. Got back in and she fired up just like always. Do you think she know's I'm trying to sell her?
Could be! I've got a "For Sale" sign on my vette right now. Haven't had any abnormal problems like that though.
One time, before i decided to sell it, i went to go to work and it wouldn't start. Same thing, nothing out of the ordinary. The electronics would turn on, plenty of juice in the battery, but it wouldn't even atempt to turn over. So i took my girlfriends car to work, came home at lunch and it fired right up. Go figure.
$14,500 huh. I'm asking $16 for my 96 LT1 Auto w/44k miles and haven't had any real prospects yet. Good luck with your sale.
I think she's trying to tell ua something! please don't tell me your're selling your c4 for a c5 I think the purple is such an awesome color! such depth and gloss! I'm a detail nut with that color some pinnacle would make that paint look a mile deep!
Come on, it's just a car.......opps..hope mine didn't hear me say that
Maybe your VATS kicked in, wipe the key down real good wait 15 min and try again
From what I remember about my VATS episode in a previous life the engine would crank but the VATS circuitry would interrupt current to the distributor.
Could be start of a flaky ignition switch ... or as we say in the technical world just a case of FM.
