scanner question
I got a scanner for Christmas but haven't used it yet. Where do you plug it in?
I've used it on my dad's truck, his is above the pedals you remove a panel it plugs right in there.
PS: Sorry if this has been posted before, but I can't seem to find it. If someone knows a thread that answers this question let me know. Also, I drive an 86 manual coupe.

You plug the scanner's cable into the 12-pin ALDL connector.
The connector is located below the left hush panel to the right of the steering wheel. It may have a plastic cover that needs to be removed before you can access the connector.
