Default Received Used Tool from ToolTopia

I bought a IR Thundergun Impact wrench from ToolTopia listed as new. I opened the box today and couldn't believe what they sent. It has nicks in the finish with black touch up paint on it, and all the screws have marks like they've been taken out before. The nut where the air hose screws in is chewed up like someone put a wrench on it and slipped, and the plastic screw thats supposed to be in there is missing. I'm returning it ,but its a pain to have to wait for a new one. Now I have to wait longer to do the bushings on my suspension. I'm not waisting my time again with this company.

Even the socket head holder has marks from where a socket was put on.. do they test these out at the factory? I've bought another IR from Lowes that didnt have those wear marks on it. Either this is the worst assembly by IR I've ever seen or I got a used/returned item. Has anyone else bought one of these, don't they come with those black plastic screws in the inlet opening so moisture doesn't get in?

I sell tools for a living and I sell alot of I.R. they do not test the tools or use them before they are shipped. If any forum member needs tools let me know I'll give you a deal. You'll never get a used tool and I can take credit cards. I sell every major name brand.

I called ToolTopia today and they're sending me a new impact wrench out before I have to send the old one back. Theyre also paying for the shipping back to them. Thats good customer service, I would order from them again after seeing how they took care of this problem. Other companies I've dealt with in the past would wait to inspect the item before they'd ship out a replacement.

Just an FYI, you don't need an impact to do your suspension. I did my whole car with hand tools and a vice with the car on jackstands in my garage. I am sure though an impact, a press and a lift would be much faster.

Before condemning the company, it may have truly been accidental. Accidents do occur, but this sure was a big one. But they did make good on it, in every way.
