So I know that the early C4's with the "star wars" dash has a digital read out for oil pressure, engine temp. etc, but do the later C4's? I know we have the dial gauges (I have a 91), but who can tell the difference between 200 and 210 on the dial?
I know there was a thread a few weeks ago comparing digital read-outs to dial read-outs and I thought there were guys with later C4's talking about which they prefer to rely on, suggesting that they can get a digital read-out as well.
Maybe they added it later on in the post 91 cars. Anybody?

`90 & `91s do not have a digital readout for engine and oil temps. The analog gauges will only give you a ballpark number, as they are not exact or lenier.
The 92-96 cars had a switchable digital readout for oil temp, water temp and volts. I think that 95-96 C4's got a trans temp readout in addition to the others.

well I just learned something... Mine has both analog and digital... I thought all the later ones did. I guess I am wrong!!!

My 92 has both and there is a 35 degree difference between the analog and digital temp guage. The analog is a good guesstament but the digital readout fo the CTS is the most accurate.
