Default Paint Code information needed.

I am in search of the paint code used on the '91 and '92 corvette wheels. All other years are a clear coated mill finish. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Daniel

Not sure what the paint code is but I think the color is called Argent.

Sorry but could not find any info in my resources. I bought some 91 sawblades to refinish but after stripping them found them to be rough cast instead of machined. I got a quote from a local body shop to repaint them the stock color (around $30 each) but decided not to do so. The body shop said they would have no problem matching the original finish.
I sold these wheels and the new owner had them polished. I don't know what he had to pay but look at how nice they turned out!

He paid big coin - I remember his message, something like $200 per rim.

As for the sawblades, I am in the process of refinishing my stock painted blades. I have stripped them and just have a little more sanding to do on the blades, in the corners and such. Originally I was going to sand them down to smooth aluminum, but quickly realized as corvetteronw did, that the rough casting makes it damn near impossible. So I will be repainting mine. I didn't bother trying to find the factory colour, just went to Canadian Tire and found a nice metallic silver paint. I always thought the stock silver was a little dull.

I have painted ZR1's on the car right now, and I also recently purchased a mint set of the machined (93-96) sawblades for $190 USD.

The machined ones will be my spare set and the painted ones will be up for sale once they are re-finished.

PS - "argent" is french for silver.

Thanks for the input guys; I have a local body guy who will do it fo 20 per rim. This is going to be on '89 style wheels. Somewhere along the line the stock wheels on my car got polished, and I can't stand the way they look. For some reason they always have a milky look.

Thanks again
