Default C4 or C5 Interior Space

Just a quick question, I have a local buyer for my 84 C4 and when he took my car for a drive he said the C4 was roomier then the C5. Said there was lots more leg room? I never sat in a C5 but I always thought they would have more space. This guy was big to looks to be 250lbs. Just curious.

Thanks

seems like the c4 has more space inside, maybe it depends on the c5, I'm only familiar with the zo6

C5 is larger in every aspect. More cargo area, wider footwell, not necessarily longer.

C5 is more roomy hands down. Twice as much cargo space too.

maybe he thought the later c4s are c5s ? 1990 they moved the speakers to the floor when they redesigned the interior. 84-89 has a ton more leg room then 90-96. but 97-04 has way more then all of em.

I'm 6'8" and have both a C4 and C5, and let me tell you the C5 is like riding in the back of a limo compared to my C4....but they are both still fun as hell to drive.

I've owned both....and the C5 has considerable more room in just about every aspect.

The way I see it, the C5 is like getting into your daddy's Buick compared to the C4. The C4 is like getting into a fighter type jet while the C5 is like a transport jet; both are fast and get the job done. One more try at this, you get into a C5, but you strap a C4 on your back.
