Hard start when warm fixed(finally)

I started with the injectors as I could smell gas on start up from the exhaust and with 155k on it I figured they needed some care anyway. Glad I did as they were nasty, rusted on top and I found some of them had crud down the throat. Car ran better(4mpg gain) but still the same hard start problem.
I did the clamp fuel feed line test after I still saw the FP guage still drop pretty quickly. It held(probably a fluke) after 3 tries at clamping it so I decided the fuel pump would be next. Changed that today and the resonator was full of gas(bad) so I was hopefull. Started it up and
Still dropping.I pulled the FPR vacuum line to find gas in it(I did this before and did not find it) and after clamping that pressure held so off to Autozone for a FPR. Put it in, bled the air out of the rail and pressure now holds
Car starts better than my 04 Trailblazer now every time I start it
Total cost for fuel pump, resonator, sock,Fms 24# injectors,FPR, fuel filter was $400.Wonder what the dealer would have charged me for all this? Now I have a totally new fuel delivery system and feel much better gaining confidence on it not dying on me somewhere. Now if it will just quit snowing I can see how it runs.
Next step is to change the oil even though it has less than 1k since last change I figure gas has leaked into it over the last couple of months.
Lesson learned is it is not always obvious what your trouble is but be a Bulldog and you will Get-r-done
