speedo gear selection
Not a Vette but close enough. I replaced the rear end in my 88 Iroc with a 4th gen 3.42 it originally had 2.77's. it has a 700r4. so I'm wondering which speedo gear i need to make the speedo work correctly?

I'm pretty sure the Camaros don't have the electronic speed sensor. Isn't the speedometer simply cable driven? So it's just a matter of changing the driven gear and possibly the drive gear which may mean removing the tailshaft cover. I know there are some tables that have been attached to some of the previous posts here. A search may help otherwise I'd have to do the same thing to find it. Good Luck.
