Default headlight problem

i know quite a few people on this board have a non sealed beam H4 bulb conversion on their vett. i purchased one of these kits from mid america and the problem is that the highs and lows are to far apart. if i have hte lows aimed correctly (which i do now), the highs are in the trees like im going owl hunting. and if i have the highs aimed correctly the lows look straight down. I think this was a no name company that makes them. i am starting to wonder now if i should have spent a little bit extra cash and gotten the conversion made by hella. anyone have any suggestions or experiences that may help?

Yeah....here's some great advice! Don't fix something that aint broke!
If you want superior lighting, then get the GE High Performance headlights, or the Sylvania Xtra Visions, and if you really want to splurge, then get the Sylvania Silverstars

When I put the “silverstar” Conversion bulbs in I missed the orientation of the bulb. The light pattern was just not right. When I rotated the bulb and used the right index tab the pattern was much better. I am now very happy with the headlamp conversion.
