Rocker panel replacement

Is there anyone on this site who could let me know where I could find a manual or site that would have the schematic to find how the outer and inner rocker panels are connected?I might have to replace the outer rocker panel on the drivers side.I don't know why there would be an inner and outer as you would think that the rocker panel would be one piece.Any help is appreciated!!!!!!

The plastic rocker panel on the outside that goes up under the car is just connected with a series of screws. It wasn't too hard to remove.

They are pretty easy to remove. You'll have to remove the rear inner fenders to be able to get to the hidden screw behind the rocker.
