Headlight timing
Is there a way to adjust the timing of the up and down of the headlights. Sometimes mine go up and down together sometimes they are completely out of sync. In either direction up or down.
Is this a normal condition or can I somehow time them together.

Well they are each controlled by their own motor so there is no adjustment to make them go up or down at the same time. They just happen to do it because both motors receive the electrical signal at the same time when you turn them on or off. It sounds like maybe something is not making good contact or worse one of your motors is on the way out. By the way mine always go up or down together.

On my '87 the left one beats the right one open by maybe an inch. Closed a fraction of that. After 18 years I'm gratefull that they both still work and the car's not winking at people as I drive down the road.
