Window Tint Pt 2
I just bought my forst Vette last November. Got a few rides out of it before the first snow came and I had to put it away. I'm getting real itchy to take it out this coming weekend. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
I just found this forum a couple of days ago, and have already gotten some good info just reading the posts.
My car already had tinted windows, but I notice it is starting to peel off in several locations. Is there an easy way to take it all off without messing up the glass???

Seems like there is an upswing on membership lately. Very good indeed. I had my windows retinted a couple of months back by a shop. I got a discount for removing the old tint. Took me about 30 minutes. I didnt remove the tint on the hatch though, I didnt want to mess up the defroster. They did the rear for me as well as give me advice on removing the side window tint. My tint was starting to peel as well so I started peeling it off where I could. I used about 2-3 razors on each windows and a lot of windex. Just get the window very wet and keep it wet while you skim the surface of the window with the razor. It worked perfectly for me, Good luck

I just noticed you are from Mass. You're in luck - A friend of mine owns a window tinting company(mobile) and is, by far, the best in the business. He'll come to you, anywhere in MA, and is 1/2 the cost of the shops around.
