are the bolts at the back of the targa supposed to come all of the way out? if not what holds them in?

On my '95 they seem to be held in by a rubber washer. Good way to not lose them. I do have to take them al the way out for my harness bar installation, just pull while turning.

Mine come all the way out if you unscrew them far enough. There should be some kind of keeper to stop them from falling out.

In my early 86, they do not come all the way out. They stay on the targo roof.
I think a rubber washer keeps them in place. Same as the front.
