1990, 105,000 miles.... and it looks brand new. I can only say one thing...... WOW! Hope you guys can work out a deal, a car like that needs a good home.
OMG! What have I done?! my car is only $400 away from meeting the reserve on ebay and the auction doesn't even close until Sunday...... I know selling is the right thing to do for me right now, but DAMN!!! THIS IS GOING TO SUCK!!!!! S.O.A.B!!!!!!

well, that was in 1990. Inflation adjusted that would be nearly $90,000. According to my lamenated window sticker, the original owner paid a $30,000 Dealer markup!!! So that would be about $90,000 in 1990 which is nearly $120,000 in today's dollars!!!
The minimul sell price of $15k has been met, so unless there is funny buisness the car will definitely be going to the highest bidder come auction close at 6pm.

Can you edit your Ebay ad to say something like:I reserve the right to sell locally regardless of bidding."? Then offer it to our San Fernando pal here for the high bid price. It it is too rich for his blood then you can still sell to your Ebay bidder. He deserves this ZR1 if at all possible! JMHO
He will even promise to keep the wheels pointing the right direction!
Unfortunately, I can't do that. The winning bidder was "leovette" and he is in Pensacola FL or at least that is where his billing zipcode is. If everything goes smoothly the car will be heading for the other Bush state!
you guys really missed out $15k is a steal for this car!!!
Mojo, resign me in as leovette, will ya?
You know where I am in case he falls through! I can have you a check from my credit union in 24 hrs.
Corvetteron-Thanx
Yeah, I was second-in-line on your auction - I was really agonizing over doing this deal - your '90 was EXACTLY what I was looking for and your album of photos show how nice this one really is - I'm just having trouble both emotionally and from a price standpoint dealing away with my '92 "base model" - it was fun bidding anyway!
I shoulda asked you what your reserve was - that might have pushed me enough to warrant a jaunt to pick up a sweet ride! I figure I could have done the Route 66 thing - you being in So Cal and me north of Chi-Town.
Good luck in the future - hope you don't miss "007 ZR1" too much!!
