Well I went to the garage and pulled out the vette for some fun time and there it was! My baby was bleeding. Not bad though. Just a drop here or there. So I’m one of those people that has to have it perfect. So I called up the shop and drove her in. No bogie it took one day. It was the valve cover gaskets. The next day I pulled the vette out and the whole floor is covered in oil!!! Here we go again. I took it back and come to find out that one of the guys at the shop tightened the cover so hard it cracked it. Good news is they are fixing it for free. Its funny how a simple job like that can turn into a daister.

I did an oil change, put Amsoil in there just to try it. Next day I had an oil leak, and the area on the floor corresponded to the oil filter. Jacked her up, no oil from the oil filter, while running or shut off. Took her to the shop. Oil sending unit was blowing oil, which is right above the oil filter. Got the car back the same day, $100 bucks lighter in the pocket; but it was money well spent because I couldn't figure out where it was leaking from and all I kept thinking was that it was going to be a nightmare etc, etc. Yeah, oil leaks can be tricky.
