i think that since there are so many "spokes" on the sawblades that they create too many reflections and look like plastic and ugly in comparison to the flat silver.
To all those who have chrome sawblades, where did you get them from? I have a black 92 and have been kicking around the idea of going that route. I bought my car last fall and the stock wheels need more attention than just a little TLC.
I'm on my second Corvette. My first was a bright red 1987 Coupe which had chrome factory rims. And my second is a 1995 torch red coupe that has the chrome sawblade rims.
Quite frankly, I think the chrome rims add some brightness to an already bright car. But that's what usually wins the trophies at car shows. My only real regret is that the rims on my 1995 are repro chrome wheels and the factory chrome wheels tend to have a slightly smoother finish; as the factory rims are machined to tighter tollerances.
At some point, I suspect I will trade the repro wheels for some factory chrome wheels just for that extra bit of polish.

There is no such thing as a factory chrome wheel. GM never made a chrome wheel for the C4. Any Chrome C4 wheel was done after the fact.
