I saw some pics of C-4 coupes with louvres. Does anyone know where they are available?

I`ve seen them. I think they look good on `70s-late 80`s F bodies, but kinda cheesey on a Vette. JMHO

to answer the question, I don`t know where they can be found nowadays

Hi Ken - I'm not sure of there are different styles, i.e. different spacing between slats or different sizes. My company is moving in another week to a new building. I've enjoyed covered parking until now, but will be outside at the new location during the day and I'm thinking about ways to help keep the sun out.

I've seen a set that I didn't think looked too bad but I have no idea what kind they were. I'm not fond of most body mods on these cars but I can definitely understand why someone would want anything to protect the interior from sun/heat damage. I wish someone would make a subtle set that went inside the glass, I'd be all over them!

With a thread topic like this, you're asking for trouble

It's called darkest legal tint

A good tint will prtect your int from UV and should slow down fading.

Louvres are a simple NO on Vettes

good idea to keep your car cool, but not sure you would like how they look. you might though. i think they might rattle too much at highway speed. i'd be more concerned about the paint being exposed to the sun just as much as the dash board and inside the passenger windows. louvers will only protect 1/4 of your problem.

I like tint but I wouldn't want to do the back w/o doing the side glass. And at my age I have enough trouble seeing at night w/o darker windows!

If you just want to protect the interior while parked, MAD has these:

Constructed of heavy duty, cotton-lined vinyl, the Tonneau Cover reduces interior temperatures up to 40 degrees, so your interior lasts longer and the A/C cools down faster. Attaches easily with no-scratch hooks/straps. Keeps out rain, damaging sun, heat, and dust. Easy installation secures your interior even with the top down and no modifications. White vinyl top material.

Steel - I may end up going with something like that. I have only the tinted top on my '86, so louvres on the back would only shade a small part.
