Sad sight to see.....
Was up in Lansing visiting a friend after driving around in my Ruby, then in a new Ford GT and a Porsche Boxster. What a great day to have fun! At triple digits too. But then we stopped at a small dealer in Holt that sells Corvettes. In the back we saw this poor Vette. Pictures kinda describes the condition this poor car was in. Interior wasn't to bad, but the outside as you can see is just gone. Might make a great race car!!! Wish I had the time and the space to save it. Of course the wife would kill me. I think keeping it gold would compliment my gold 67 Firebird.

Depends on what I want to do. Show off.. The GT
To cruise and have fun,my Ruby!!! The Boxster is nice, but you have to rev the damn thing at least to 5K to wake it up. Plus it sounds like a sewing maching!!! The GT, well it is what it is... A race car! Very firm seats and ride. After an hour I would be done. Handles like it is on rails! And with 550hp, it is no slouch!!!! The machining on the aluminum parts like the a-arms is beautiful. But it is a FORD! The dealer could not pop the front bonnet!!!! Would not come loose!!!
I've been to that place in Holt. Some nice people working there. I gotta get up there again.
As for turning that poor Vette into a race car... you know, my wife and I just got back from Gingerman. I got all manner of "race car" ideas going through my head. Luckily I'm married and I have to spend $$$ on girlie stuff for the home. That'll keep me out of a race car for a while!
