Console Graphics Kit
I am sure most of you have this problem or at least know what I am talking about. The center console graphics on my 85 have all faded, they are barely visible anymore. If you look real hard, you can see the power seat graphics, but at a quick glance, you don't see anything. Anyway, I was wondering if there is a kit to restore the graphics. I'd hate to buy a new piece just for visible graphics. Anyone?

I think you are SOL on that one. You have 2 choices, go to a graphics place and see if they can make you some, or buy a new piece. I would look on ebay to see if someone may be selling the piece you need. May be cheaper than having the graphics made.

You might consider just removing the panel completely, and refinishing it without the labels....You already know what all the switches do anyway, and it would look better than having some half faded ones, plus its way cheaper than buying a new one like you said.....just a suggestion

I def agree that no graphics is better than faded ones, just thought that there might be something available for those hardcore resto guys that want to keep all the original pieces, etc.

You can always buy a carbon fiber kit and cover up any part of your interior that you want. Great for "hiding" scratches, cracks and faded graphics. The kits are custom cut to your car's specifics. Not too cheap though...

If anyone can get me actual size pics of these graphics...I have a friend who owns a graphics shop. She is real good at repo'n all GM outside decals...she might be able to come up with something for us....especially if we get enough to do a group purchase/run. Ken

We still need a true to size picture to get these things made. Anyone have a good console cover that they can take a picture and get the measurements of the graphics. Send them to Ken at the email above he can get them made.
