After taking my 84 out of hibernation I gave it the once over,
and I notice about 3 oil drops on the floor below the oil drain
plug and sure enough there was oil on it, so I took it back where
I had the oil changed along with all the other fluids before I put
it away for the winter { got to take care of the Baby} and they
put a new plug with a new washer and it still leaks! does anyone
know what I can do short of replacing the oil pan!!
by the way i'm using Mobil 1 10w30 and it's not cheap!
Thanks in advance.
They make a self tapping drain plug that is a hair bigger and will go right in. Most parts stores carry these.. This might solve the problem if threaded portion of pan is enlarged.....
