Default extra 383, part out or keep?

Ok, the 434 is getting closer to completion and I need to figure out what to do with the old 383. It's complete minus intake and headers, waterpump and other accessories.
Block - original with splayed caps installed
Cam - 219/229 @ .50 .544/.544 lift 114CL
Heads Dart pro1 200cc port and polish job by MORE Performance, NC they flow ~280 @ .550 on intake
Scat Forged Crank
Ross forged pistons

Question is should I keep these parts as "back up" or should I part out. If I part out, any idea on the value??

Thanks

If you would sell it, how much would you want to get out of it?

If you sell the heads, contact me. They are basically exactly what I have been looking for.

That said, I think you should part it out!

How used are the parts and how is the condition?
That seems like a pretty stout bottom end, if it was run, you won't get your money back, but you should make out pretty well with the parts.

I'd sell it.

Oh and how much you want for the whole thing? Inquiring minds want to know (in other words put me in line).

Thanks guys. The motor only had about 5K miles on it. The rings never seated (ran way too rich for too long). I will probably take everything apart and have a machine shop look at it all. I have receipts for everything done. The heads had $500 worth of porting done. I will be taking the roller rockers for the 434. I am hopefully going to get the engine this weekend and bring it home. I will give first dibs to those I who have responded in this thread if that's the way I decide to go.

No point in letting a potential powerhouse collect dust. Add my name to the bottom of the list in case everyone else backs out.

I'd be interested in the pistons and rods, depending on specs. I'd be interested in the crank too but I don't think it'll work in an LT1.

So what are you going to use for an intake on the 434?

85togo, I am in the same boat. I've got people interested in the heads and the short block. I have a ton of $ in both. I've got the heads off and they are in good shape, just cleaning them up. The top of the pistons look good but I think I'll take it to a machine shop. PM me and let's talk about it.

Chris, I'm going to use my miniram from my 383. I'll see how it runs, if I need to, I'll go with the Single Plan conversion others are doing.

BTW, 5 beers and 5 guys got it out of my truck
