Default Front Tag Cover

I just bought and painted a front tag cover for my 91. (The car was originally from Texas so it had a tag on the front.) Can anyone tell me what type fastener it takes to mount the cover? I don't want to just use sheet metal screws like the two Chevy dealers here suggested unless that's the only option.

My 84 has two screws at the bottom. You can't see them of course. Aren't their holes that meet up with the cover?

Yes. The holes in the bumper, which are hexigon shaped, match with the holes on the cover. I thought something might snap into the hex shaped holes in the bumper.

Nope ... it takes those (specific) Hex screws and a small driver ... they go at an up angle and use care not to scratch ... when complete the hardware is not seen easily.
