Okay, so today I went and put the paperclip on 4 & 12 to get the latest list of error codes from the ALDL or OBD 1 16-pin connector. I got four codes and the best source for ALDL codes that I've found so far indicates I have several areas to address.
One of them is the O2 Sensor. The Haynes book indicates there is only one O2 sensor, but sources on the Internet indicate there are four. Does anyone know how many there truly are on an automatic LT1 Coupe? And where they are located?
I could not find any "How-To" informatoin on replacing the O2 sensors. Has anyone see such a document?
Here are the other codes along with descriptions. Are these items fixable at home?
25 - Intake Air Temperature (High)
29 - Air Pump Circuit
43 - Knock Sensor Circuit
63 - Oxygen Sensor Circuit (Open) Bank 2 Right
they are 4 two in front toward the motor and two in the rear back around the tranny but before replacing them get all the other codes fixed and cleared they may be just setting off the o2 codes the bank 2 right should be the pass, side rear sensor they arent hard too replace the hardest part is plugging them back up i just replaced all 4 on my 96 and found out it was only a fuse...
Thanks for the information. Finally clear on how many there are on the car.

Is there some "How-To" document or is it just a matter of finding the O2 sensor and taking it off. It does not seem like it's complicated at all. Unscrew, unplug, then rescrew and replug.

Bummer about the fuse after all the work. These O2 sensors are pretty expensive, about $90 each.

The other problems are 25-Intake Air Temp, 29-Air Pump Circuit, and 43-Knock Sencor Circuit. I'll have to take the car in to the dealership for these.
Good idea, though, about clearing these up first. Then consider the O2. Thanks.
no problem all 4 of mine were around 250$ at auto zone and they arent that hard to replace just getting them pluged and unpluged is the hardest part i would try to fix the others myself thats what got me in trouble with my o2s was the dealer not sure where all of them are but they shouldnt be hard to replace get a haynes manual or some other type or just ask here and you will find the answers....
