well my cousin has a 91 corvette with about 35,000 miles on it and he said it is running pretty rough and bogging down when getting on the gas... a friend of his that is a mechanic said it was the mass air sensor but i have found out they have the speed density system??
well i was just wondering if speed density sensor would cause a problem like this or if it is something else... maybe do new plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, and 02 sensor and then see what the deal is...
i dont know much about corvettes but really would like to fix this little problem of his

Mine would cut out at WOT. I replaced the inline filter on the pass side, it worked lots better. I did not replace the sock one in the tank, still want to.
It should be generating codes. He should get a code checker & plug into the black plug above the gas pedal on the dash. You can diagnose more with that as a tool.
No mass air sensor on the 90-91s they're speed density.I'd start out with the basic tune up items.I just gotthrough doing a very low mile(8k) 88 Vert of a friends his was doing the same thing. He didn't think it needed it because of the miles but age plays with alot of components as well.Do plugs, wires and check the cap and rotor out and see what that gets you.
