Well I haven't been around for a while because I've had what I call The Corvette Blues!
It started last October when I hit 113K on my stock 90 Roadster.
I started blowing large quantites of white smoke.
Next, overheating except on the highway.
Fuel gauge inop.
Oil pooling on the manifold.
and last week-after taking it out of storage-about a gallon of antifreeze on the floor!
The next day I ran into my uncle who builds race engines! (accidently on purpose)
The engine comes out tomorrow and he will put in a custom built 355-CDI with 430 rear wheel HP! (in a few weeks). The fuel gauge problem will be fixed as well when he puts in the high flow pump and sending unit.
... the next thing you're gonna have to replace is the rear end. Oh, and you might want to upgrade your brakes as well. ...... And new tires, because 430 hp is not going to go unnoticed by the rear skins. Then, by the time you get all this done you're probably gonna have to rebuild your tranny. That 430 hp is a doozy on the drive train.
