Tops Off....
Well today was the day. In the 80's here in the Sand hills of NC so for the first time since owning the 'vet, I took the glass top off. Came off like a charm. Had the car all cleaned up, so I drove around town playing some Elvis, Dion, Billy Joel and Johnny Cash. Sure was a lot of fun. I also have one of those rear hatch vent gizmo's so didn't get any buffeting. Driving around where I live is a little dicey because there are new road closeures every day as the town makes prepeations for the US Open (golf) next month. Before I put the white top on, I will silicone all the weather stripping. Only bummer today was I waved at a C4 and a C5 and got nada. Oh well.

sometimes i think the middle finger will get a response better then a wave. i wave at everyone, small town, kinda know everyone. today was first time a ricer waved before i did. i agree with you on cruising around with the tunes going. this last sunday was my first time out and it was a feeling of freedom. gotta love it.

Nothing like cruising with the top off!
I keep my Vette in the garage, it's not my DD and can't think of the last time I had the top on, but then again I live in Florida.
