will this work?
i was thinking about finding a newer aluminum shortblock 350 like out of an 98 or so. of course with low mileage. would all my components like heads, intake, opti and all that bolt up? is there even any gain in doing it? just a thought that crossed my mind give me any input good or bad

LSx and LTx are fairly different. I know the heads themselves are at a different angle, and the majority of the accessories won't work between blocks.
Although expensive, one thing you could do if you were looking at late blocks, would be to find a complete LSx motor and retrofit it into your C4. However, performance-wise, for the price of the conversion, you could have a significantly faster LTx.
