This question has probably been asked and answered, but could not find it. Installed K & N filter in my 92 vert today. Could not get case
back together using the foam seals so I had to leave them out. Any one
else have this problem? Just a quick drive down freeway and back(10
miles) seems to have better throttle response. Could just be my imagination or ego(oops vette owners dont't have egos).

Same thing happened to me. I took me a good hour to get the damn thing back together. I had to put it on the ground and have all my body weight on it, and have another person put the middle screw thing back in to hold it together. Just keep at it.
