Purple is gone
Ever see the movie "Shane"? At the end the little boy runs down the road shouting "Come back! Come back!" That is the way I felt when the 1996 dark purple metallic coupe backed out of my driveway with a new owner at the wheel. 
Dang, I'm gonna miss that car. The navigator and I have put a lot of fun roadtrip miles on Purple, but it was time to move on.
This forum has been great. I haven't posted much, just lurked and learned. The knowledge available her is a valuable asset to anyone with a Vette. Have a problem? Do a search. Want to known something? Do a search. The forum is more entertaining than any of the newsstand magazines, and a better source of information.
Now I've moved to the C5 section, but I still love the C4s so I'll be back to check out photos. And, yes, I wave at C4s.
