What you have to remove to change the u-joints on the drive & half shafts. Well I don't have the place nor time for this one. Any LOCAL places in the TORRANCE, GARDENA, CARSON area??
From: St. Peters MO Sometimes you have to prove yourself by doing alot of killing or alot of dying...
you said crap
ToyC4 was able to remove his in the middle of the drag strip... well actually the car removed it for him... but it was that easy
Touch base with Central Coaster and Bogus... They stay in that area and can point you in the right direction
its not hard i put my whole drivetrain with a standard 13" jack c beam and driveshaft inall its not that hard just take the 2 bolts conecting the c beam to the rearend out, then take one bolt and loosen the other one at the transmission. this prosess works best with a creeperlol

On my early 86, even though the book says I have to remove the C beam, I changed the ujoints without touching the C beam.
That would be the same book that tells me to remove the gas tank to change fuel pump
I did have to take half the exhaust off.

This was the first time underneath the Vette since I have own it, about 5 1/2 months. I had the oil change by locals and have not had to do anything else downunder. It looks like I have to drop the exhaust system, sure would be nice to have a mid mount engine.
