This weekends projects on the vette [Pics]
1. Cleaned out the radiator. 3 handsfull of dirt in there
2. Finished my interior, New seat, new leather on steeringwheel, and mats
3. Guttered my main cat
Well first of all cleaning the radiator was an easy job, and it really made my car run 10 degeees cooler. Is was 1/3 full of dirt in there...
My new floor mats arrived, so my interior is "finished" now, a real pleasure
Last but not least...I really allways wanted a more powerfull sound in my vette, and since there isent a law that demand that my car must have cats.... I still have the precats on, and guttered the main, and have 3" KDB freeflows in the tail end.... and WOOW what a sound!!! Im soo pleased...Its a bit loud, but very powerfull and has nice rumble at idle....When you rev it at relase the gas, it makes those little "BANGS" like small explosions in the exhaust...YIIHA!!!
I dont know how big the power gain is, but really can feel it! it pulls so even and strong, AND it also made it run cooler.

The inside of a main cat, and "gutter tools"

Yep...bangs go away with a dyno tune...don't know why...but they do!
Getting a good interior shot is such a pain in the **** isn't it? I finally learned you need a cloudy day and remove the top to get a nice pic of the interior...otherwise in the sun it's washed out or if you leave the top on there are shadows all over the place!
Sweet...love weekend projects!

Becareful, sooner or later the gov't in your area is gonna catch on that the honor system isn't working and MAKE you do the right thing like they do here in cali.
Just because you can get away with it, dosn't mean you should.

1.I live in Denmark, you have to add shipping, fee and tax to that price and 3 weeks shipping time....NOT a bargain anymore....
2. My old cat was clogged, and made the car run hot
3. cars here have to be 91´ or newer before cats are by law. And that cant be change with effect on older cars...
Dont make me feel bad about my effect on nature... I drive a small Opel 1.3 liter every day, and use busses and trains alot, I only drive my vette in the weekends and its very few km
