I don't know a lot about cars yet, however I'm learning as fast as I can. I bought my first corvette 7mos. ago and I have a few little problems such as my windshield washer doesn't work. Another problem is the passenger pwr window will go up using the passenger switch, and the only way to put it down is by using the driver switch. A mechanic said it's the motor, although it sounds to me like the switch that's messed-up instead. Finally I was wondering if an air foil is worth buying, or just a lot of hype. Thanks for helping.
Windshield washer - check if 12V is getting to the pump, if so you should hear it run. Check if fluid is getting to it / leaving it - could be a pinched tube. If pump doesn't spin with 12V it's dead.
Door is either switch/connector/wire. If the motor turns both directions it is fine.
The most common opinion is that the airfoil is worthless. There are a few guys here and there that say they work, but most everyone here says they are a waste of money.
my 92 windows acted a little flaky for a bit when i first got my car but after a few thousand miles everything cleared up.if you have a low mileage 94 it could just be from sitting.
just a thought.
and yea if it motors with any switch the problem is not the motor.

My '95 does exactly the same thing, and fyi the switch does just pop out easily. Try taking it out, check the connections on it, wiggle the little button as your moving it in the down position. 1 out of 10 times mine will go down using the passenger switch, but if you can lower the window from the drivers side, it is NOT the motor. Just replace the switch on pass door side.
If you can get an airfoil cheap, I'd put one in, but I wouldn't pay $25 bucks for one though.
