Intersting problem..
I have a aftermarket keyless entry on my 92.The the other day I was playing with the remote.The drivers side door lock motor is draggin a bit..unlocks fine BUT when you lock it with either the remote or the door switch it make is about halfway.Do it twice and it wil lock all the way.
I found this out by just watching and playing with it..then it stopped unlocking all together with the remote.
The door switch would unlock BUT will not lock at all.Neither side...So it will lock with the remote but won't unlock with the remote.It will unlcok with the door switch BUT will NOT lock with the door switch.The car went back to the guy that did the keyless and we found a wire burnt up that was related to the keyless.It was the lead for the lock.WE removed it for obviuos reasons and he said the driver door lock is the master lock and is grounding out trying to lock..what do you guys thing on this?
All the other features like lights hatch and such work normally.
Any good leads on a door lock switch and were to get one?..
