What does this mean
What does it mean when your Air /Heating controls blink when you first start the car and then quit.Everything works fine. I know it is a code but for what. I thought codes blinked in your speedo area.

The C68 system sets its own codes in the controller. I have retrieved them before but don't recall the procedure right off. The codes will flash on the control unit and you count the flashes.

A flashing tell-tale light on the C68 (automatic climate control unit) indicates that it is storing a fault code.
Ignition in run position. Press and hold both fan buttons (up and down) for about four seconds. The display will show "00". Press the fan "auto" (center) button and it will show the code it is storing. Post the code and I (or someone else) will tell you what it means.
