A week ago, after a brief stop at a local Happy Hour, got back in the Vette only to find the Selective Ride Control light stayed on for my trip home. Didn't feel, and still don't, any difference in the ride. Got home, disconnected the battery over night, started it up the next morning and same thing ?? Any ideas here. Should the next step be to check each of the actuators ?
There is about a 95% chance that either the plastic gear inside the actuator is shattered or the gear on top of the shock is broken. You can pull the codes, they will tell you which wheel. For the fronts it's just easier to pop of the actuators and take a look see.
Find the thread "FX3 blues" I posted about a week back. A guy chimed in that can rebuild the actuators for $125. If it is the shock you need to send to Bilstein for about the same price or buy new for $185.
