LOL, I love the 69 and it is worth 2x what the 94 is but I got him in the HP department. Now stock -vs.- stock it would be very interesting the 69 is rated at 300Hp 375TQ similar to a stock LT1 at 300/335. I was defiantly impressed with the thing, it pulls like a fright train but the gearing is a little steep with only a 4 speed, I am guessing its got around 4:11 gears in the back
Thanks to everyone for the kind words I am sure he will be happy to here. It appears a new corvette is a little like the fountain of youth one day he was this 62 old guy complaining about retirement the next he is like a 16 year old kid with a new toy.

if his is the base engine 300hp like you say you would stomp it...it just feels stout bc of the TQ and low gears it would stop pulling hard after 100mph now my dads 427 is another story it's rated in the 13's stock and I honestly don't know which car would win between me and him his has goobs of torque! it has 390hp 460lbs of torque!
anyway nice pics and get your father-in-law to become a forum member so he can learn about that 69
oh BTW looks like the 69 has a BB hood but you said it has the 350/300 in it...so someone has just added the bb hood in the past?
