'90 C4 thows a code 36
Hey guy's
Friend of mine is working on a 90 4+3....has just put in a ne Mass Air....after a couple of days it throws another code 36.....any other causes that you can suggest...

St. Jude Donor '05-'06
Check the maf relay and maf burnoff relay. Check resistance of both with a digital multi meter. If less than 18 ohms replace.
Wait a second, my 90 is speed density=no maf, are you sure it's a 90?

thats what i though.....i saw the car and thaught it was an 89

It sounds like an issue wth one or both MAF relays.

Thanks guy's....
your both rite on the mark...in fact when pullin the relay's from the fire wall they pretty much fell apart...
Problem solved and another vette hits the road here in canada!
