Default Impressive MPG!

Just got back from a 3000 mile road trip with the 91. OKC to Los Angeles (Disneyland) back thru Las Vegas, then Denver, and back home.
29MPG running an average of 75/80MPH. This is the last time we go on vacation with the glass roof panel. WE ROASTED thru Az. and Nv. even with the AC on high! Except for the metro areas, we only met 5 other Vettes on the open road the entire trip. 3 C5's and 2 C4's
Not one single glitch the entire trip! I couldn't be happier!

Nice. Got about the same AVG with my 91 last year when I drove from Burlington, NC to Lenox, IA (and return) to see my son and new granddaughter. ~2500 miles round trip. Set the MPG and trip meter before I left and didn't reset it until I got back. These cars are very efficient on cruise.

I am with stupids. These L98's get good mileage. Before I started modding my 88 (already had headers, cut lid, no frisbee, and a 160 stat) I got 29 mpg on the open road. City mileage is a different story

My gas mileage jumped up several mpg's after installing the Corsa's and K&N. Before my average between city and highway was 18.2 and instant on cruise about 26, after now several months later I average 22.+ and 28-29 instant on cruise control about 75 mph.
