power windows broke
I have an 84 corvette. I was rolling the window up, and about halfway, I heard a snap and it stopped rolling. I parked it and pulling the window all the way up manuely, so at least its in the full up position. Anyway, when I hit the power window switch, I can hear the motor wirring way, just no movement from the window. Is this an easy fix I can do? Or if I take it to a body shop, whould it be expensive? I don't think it would be too bad since the motor still works, but I don't know and that is why I'm asking. Thanks in advance

There's a 99% chance that what you need is a new ribbon. You can probably do it yourself if you've ever taken the door panel off and are handy with tools. Here's one place to get it...and it's on SALE!
