Default Jack position

Looking for tips on jacking up a 93 vert. I understand open doors and hood. What about the top? Also is there a jack position to raise both front wheels at once to limit body twist? Then what is best position for jack stands?

i roll a floor jack under the frame just behind either front tire and push it in far enough to clear the body seam where theres a frame junction.(right where it says jack here instead of jack right behind here like it should)
i then lift the whole side of the car up.
doors, hood, glass, everything closed usually.(its my opinion its best to avoid flex instead of opening everything up and asking for it-but i know, many will tell you the opposite)
i have opened the door while jacked up fetching something out and it didnt seem to budge anything.door still shut perfect.
not sure on the front point for both front tires but on the rear they make a jack adapter that slides inbetween the pipes and hits the rear diff.you could use about anything that would fit really.
heres a pic of one http://www.corvettegadgetman.com/products3.html

I leave everything closed. I've jacked my car up a million times and never had a problem. I've opened and closed the doors and hood while it was jacked up, no difference.

I only have facility to jack one corner at a time so I open the hood, hatch and remove the two front top bolts & loosen the two rear bolts.

Then I use the stock jacking pints for either the floor jack or the OEM jack.

the thread Okies suggests has some additional links to the ZR1 registry that includes photos of correct jack and jackstand positioning
