Very carefully...start at a small corner (end) use a srewdriver that has the v at the end of it...It is actually used to remove small nails....But if you call a body shop supply place they will tell you the name of it...probably cost you $10.00 at the most!

What the hell are you talking about? A little hammer?!?

The trim is held in place with 10mm nuts from the back side. A good test example is the short piece between the rear wheel well and the door. Take this off and you'll have a better idea of the challenges ahead. The bumpers will have to be dropped, the doors have both nuts and small clampers plus double sided tape and the rest are a PITA!.

Good Luck and lots of beer is required

mine bolts were rusted and just made the studs spin. i tried soaking them in all kinds or penetrators but no luck. i had to use a dremel to cut off all of the nuts. luckily Hippiehead025 helped me out with some replacement parts.

Default I'd be careful

I just painted my car over the winter, and found a can of worms trying to take my trim off. Be careful. You will find a mix of 10mm nuts and spring clips that hold it on. Soak the nuts in WD40 FIRST !!!! Otherwise you will risk breaking the post loose on the trim,, and then you have real problems. And there is no guarantee that they won't break loose anyway (see above)The threaded stud weld will break loose on the trim, leaving you with a nut and stud that spins freely, but not off.

The doors are the worst. Each end has a nut, but there are spring clips in between. The only way I saw to get to them was to take the guts out of the door. I chose not to do that. It didn't need replaced, so I just taped it off. I was too afraid of damaging the door skin by prying it off.
